Barsham currently sitting one from bottom of division 1, having only taken two points from 5 games, have suffered two more major setbacks. Last week, Beccles Town captured the signing of 16 year old goal machine Alex Holmes, which has made an immediate impact scoring 2 in 2 games for the reserves. The second set back is, his older brother Nick, has suffered a nasty looking ankle injury suffered against Spexhall at the weekend, and may be out for a couple of weeks. However, some good news for the Barsham boys is top goal scorer from last season Nick Wilson should return to action next week, following a 6 week lay off.
Not all doom and gloom for Barsham just yet.
Barsham host Oxford Arms this weekend in the cup, followed by a tricky looking encounter against Blundeston the week after.
