The Notleys Lowestoft & District League has already seen its first casualty before a ball has been kicked as last years second division winners
AFC Star have withdrawn from the competition.
Star were thought to be one of the main contenders in the bid for the title.
The withdrawel means that once again the division will have 13 competing teams.
