Marquis warmed up with a game against Corton White Hart Celtics 1st team in the first half and res in the second half both half were very close with end to end action but White Hart took the lead early on with a well placed cross allowing the attacker to head home however Andrew Howarth soon made it 1-1 when a superb through ball from new signing Glen Russell allowed Andrew Howarth to slot home. However Corton soon made it 3-1 with two quick goals first one from a cross again allowing the attacker to head home and the 2nd with a well place shot leaving the Scott Sayer no chance of saving it. However Andrew Howarth soon made it 3-2 with a well place free kick from Andrew Lockwood allowing Andrew Howarth to head home. Andrew Howarth could have made it 3 a piece but was deined by the post from a close range free kick. Second half saw the reserve team take the field but Marquis soon made it 3-3 thanks to a superb cross from Ben Saunders allowing Lee Cuthbertson to slot the ball home. Marquis soon took the lead with a free kick from Ben Saunders allowing Ricky Woolger head into the back of the net to make it 4-3. The Corton equliser came with 1 min from the end thanks to a defensive error.
