APPROACHING December, and with the majority of teams having played eight games in the popular three-division league only four sides still boast unbeaten records.

And of those teams - Waveney Reserves and Hearts of Oak in division one, Pakefield Re-United in division two and Waveney Gunners in division three - it is only the Gunners who've fired a perfect record with seven wins from their seven league games.

First division leaders Waveney Reserves maintained top spot and made it six wins and two draws from eight games with a 3-0 win over 10th placed Corton White Horse Seltic.

Norton move into second after an 8-0 demolition against bottom of the table Beccles Caxton Reserves, with goals for Andy Green 3, Paul Harriman 2, Michael Ball, Rory Spinks and Kevin Briers.

Barsham and Hearts of Oak, in third and fourth respectively, were both without games as the reigning champions have only played five league games thus far - with four wins and a draw under their belts.

Spexhall move into fifth place as they gained revenge for a cup defeat the previous week against Pot Black to beat Danny McKinley's side 3-2 at Normanston Park, despite goals for Darren Boyd and Adam Bird for the eighth-placed home side.

With sixth placed Oxford Arms without a game, seventh placed Blundeston Magpies lost their unbeaten league record when going down to Kirkley & Pakefield A's youngsters 1-0, who are ninth.

In the only other game in the division, 12th placed Ole Frank had a fine 2-1 win at 11th placed Mutford & Wrentham.

There were shocks in division two as the previously unbeaten top two - AFC Star and Pakefield Re-United - both lost their 100pc records in their eight matches.

Pakefield Re-United now top the table after Hone's goal secured a 1-1 home draw with Hopton. AFC Star however slipped to a 4-2 defeat away at fifth placed Great Yarmouth Town Hall.

Suffolk Punch move into third place after a 4-0 home win over bottom of the table Harleston Town Reserves, as Ellingham slipped to fourth after their a 4-3 defeat at 13th placed Tudor.

Seventh placed Bungay Town A shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with tenth placed Lowestoft International, while eighth placed Norton Athletic Reserves hit seven in a convincing 7-3 win over 12th placed Corton A in the only other league game played as Daniel Robinson 3, Jon Green 2, Steve Rivett and Gary Crisp were on the mark for the village side.

Waveney Gunners now top division three after hammering bottom of the table Carlton Rangers 10-2, and their cause was helped as previous leaders Waveney A slipped into second following a 3-0 reversal at fifth placed Earsham.

Kirkley & Pakefield B remain in third after a good 1-0 home win (Ben Atkins) over 12th placed Factory Arms. Fourth placed Norman Warrior drew 1-1 with tenth placed Marquis of Lorne.

Spexhall Reserves move up to sixth after a good 3-2 home win over Corton White Horse Seltic Reserves, while eight-placed Blundeston Magpies Reserves lost again, this time 4-2 to ninth placed Mutford & Wrentham Reserves.

In the only other game played, 11th placed Oxford Arms Reserves drew 0-0 with 13th placed Westhall.
