Weekend Preview 15th March 2008

First division leaders Hearts of Oak will no doubt find Pot Black a much tougher proposition than Sole Bay Res whom they defeated 18-0 last weekend. Pot Black have picked up 19 points from their last 21 and are in fine form which has put them in the hunt for 3rd place. Title challengers Norton Athletic will be looking to emulate their challengers as they take on Sole Bay Res on the common.

Third place Wrentham will look to consolidate their lofty position as they travel to bottom side Corton Res. Two out of form sides clash at Dip Farm as Kirkley & Pakefield A travel to Oxford Arms. There is the battle of the Waveney's at Denes High School as Waveney Youth take on CDS and Carlton Rangers travel to Spexhall who will be looking for 3 points to keep them in the hunt for 3rd place.

The second division sees the top two both looking for 3 more points as leaders Hearts of Oak Res. entertain Oulton Broad & Notleys Res and Barsham travel to bottom side Lacon Arms who have not won a game all season. 3rd Place Blundeston Magpies look to bounce back to winning ways at Pakefield Re-United. In form Caxton Res. take on county cup finalists Ellingham who have been beaten twice by Hearts Res in the last fortnight. Royal Standard welcome the visit of Crusaders who are in a desperate relegation battle having just one point more than Lacon Arms. The other fixture sees Waveney Gunners travel to Norton Subcourse to take on Norton Res.

In the third division the top two should collect the 3 points in their home fixtures are Ole Frank entertains Westall 2007 and Hopton White Hart entertains Blundeston Magpies Res. Blundeston Plough face a tricky home encounter with LIFC whilst in form Bungay Town A entertains Marquis of Lorne.

At the foot of the division CDS Waveney Res takes on Factory Arms whilst the final fixture is a mid table clash between two Reserve sides as Oxford Arms entertains Spexhall.
