League Report 28th March.

The season’s John More Shield Finalist will be Gt Yarmouth Town Hall and Suffolk Punch after this weekends semi final matches were played.

Suffolk Punch eased through their tie at Kirkley & Pakefield B 7-0 whilst Gt Yarmouth Town Hall edged a tight affair with Harleston Town Res. 2-1. The final looks set for Friday 24th April at Crown Meadow.

The first division title is almost in the hands of Hearts of Oak following their 2-0 win against Spexhall and they need just one more win as they have a vastly superior goal difference on Pot Black who are firm favourites for the runners up berth following their 3-1 win against Blundeston Magpies and their solitary goal mid week against Kirkley & Pakefield.

Norton Athletic seemingly feel away as they were held 2-2 by lowly Caxton Res. who were gifted a late leveller.

Wrentham slip again as they went down 3-1 at Kirkley & Pakefield A whilst Waveney Res. who have hit some good form beat Barsham 5-2.

The final game in the division saw FC Hearts run out 7-1 winners against Sole Bay United Res.

Corton White Horse Seltic edged closer to the second division title as they won a tight game with Pakefield Re-United 3-2. They remain 12 points clear of Ole Frank whom beat Bungay Town A 5-2.

Norton Athletic Res. climb back to third some 5 points behind Frank following their narrow 2-1 win at Oxford Arms Res. but Norton do have 3 games in hand.

Hopton White Hart are a point further back as they were held to a 1-1 draw by LIFC.

Crusaders put another nail into Ellinghams coffin following their fine 5-2 win whilst the Tudor v Oulton Broad & Notleys game was abandoned due to the state of the pitch.

Due to the John Moore Shield there were just 3 games played in division three and these saw Lake Lothing run out 7-1 winners over basement side Factory Arms.

Waveney A netted a good 4-2 win against Marquis of Lorne to jump above them and Corton White Horse Seltic Res. won by the same scoreline at Westhall.
