All change at the top again

IT'S all change once more in two of the three divisions this week as previous leaders once again top the table.

Norton have returned to the summit in division one, despite being held to a 1-1 home draw at reigning champions Hearts of Oak, who are now sixth. An injury time equaliser denied Norton the three points, as the village side led through Tom Hudson's strike. They now head the table on goal difference, and still have a game in hand on second placed Waveney Reserves, who lost 3-1 at home to third placed Barsham.

Spexhall are fifth after a 4-0 home win over bottom of the table Beccles Caxton Reserves, Pot Black remain in seventh after a fine 5-0 away at 12th placed Mutford & Wrentham.

Ole Frank are eighth after beating tenth placed Kirkley & Pakefield A 4-2 at Normanston Park, while ninth placed Blundeston Magpies beat 11th placed Corton White Horse Seltic 3-1.

In division two, it is a case of as you were at the top of the table after the top four sides all won again. Leaders AFC Star still head the table by four points after a 5-1 home win over sixth placed Hopton.

Pakefield Re-United are still in second after a 2-0 away win at bottom of the table Harleston Town Reserves with goals from Tills and Harlow, as Neil Dale's side still have two games in hand.

Suffolk Punch remain third after beating eighth placed Corton A 5-1 away, while Great Yarmouth Town Hall beat tenth placed Lowestoft International 2-0.

Ellingham stay in fifth place despite losing 2-1 at home to 12th placed Bungay Town A, while Crusaders are up to seventh after a narrow 2-1 home win over 13th placed Sole Bay United Reserves.

Tudor, after a fine recent run, move up to ninth after a 4-1 home win over 11th placed Norton Athletic Reserves.

Waveney A have returned to the top in division three after beating previous leaders Waveney Gunners, who slip to second, 3-0. The Gunners are one point behind now, but still have three games in hand.

Spexhall Reserves remain poised in third after a 3-1 away win at Corton White Horse Seltic Reserves, while both Earsham and K&P B kept up the pressure in fourth and fifth places respectively.

Earsham had a walkover win over bottom of the table Carlton Rangers, while Olly Winram fired another brace for Neil Harris' young K&P side as they beat ninth placed Blundeston Magpies Reserves 3-1.

Norman Warrior stay sixth after a good 5-2 home win over tenth placed Westhall, while 11th placed Oxford Arms Reserves superbly recovered from 3-0 down at Dip Farm to eventually beat eighth placed Mutford & Wrentham Reserves 5-3.

The points were shared in the final division encounter at Normanston Park as 13th placed Marquis of Lorne drew 2-2 with 12th placed Factory Arms, but Ron Bonnor's men still have two games in hand on their rivals and are just two points behind.
