League Report 25th April.

Oxford Arms moved a step closer to securing the first division title following these weeks’ games during which they beat Spexhall 3-1 and Norton Athletic 4-0. They remain 4 points clear of Hearts of Oak and need just 4 points from there remaining 3 games to secure the title. Hearts of Oak picked up maximum points after defeating Pot Black and Blundeston Magpies both 3-0.

Norton Athletic finished their campaign by holding Spexhall to a 2-2 draw on Easter Monday with a side that included 4 reserve team players in the line-up.

Waveney Reserves picked up a 7-1 win against Kirkley & Pakefield A and need 7 points from the nine they have to play for to secure 3rd place from Norton.

It was a good mixed weekend for Spexhall Reserves who won 8-3 at Ellingham on Saturday but lost 4-2 in their Easter Monday derby fixture with Earsham.

At the other end of the table Telecom Rovers beat Beccles Caxton Reserves 3-2 to keep their survival hopes alive whilst Lowestoft International lost their second game of the week losing 2-1 at Bungay Town A. Bungay followed this up by earning a point at Mutford on Monday following their 1-1 draw.
