League Report 20th September.

It’s all change at the top of the first division following this weeks results as early pacesetters Wrentham had the points stolen by Magpies as Blundeston recorded a terrific 3-1 victory. Wrentham are now headed by Kirkley & Pakefield A who won 2-0 at bottom side Oxford Arms.

Pot Black followed up last weeks fine point with 3 more this week as they scored a 3-1 success over a Spexhall side who remain pointless.
Waveney Res. picked up their first points as they eased to a 5-0 win over Sole Bay Res. whilst Beccles Caxton were the days biggest winners as they strolled to a 10-0 success over AFC Bayfields.

Barsham who have been unlucky in losing both of their opening games to last minute strikes were left inactive due to the surprise call off of champions Hearts of Oak who could not raise a side.

Norton Athletic were in Norfolk Junior Cup action where they faced a Norton Walsham Town Res. side who had not lost a league game for 42 matches however Norton excelled and went through 5-1.

The second division already looks like it will be intriguing as every team has already lost. Early leaders Hopton White Hart went down 2-0 at Waveney Gunners whilst second placed Crusaders lost 2-1 at LIFC. Tudor FC are up to third after their 5-0 win over bottom side Oxford Arms Res. Ole Frank netted a second win as they beat Bungay Town A 5-1 as did Oulton Broad & Notley’s Res who recorded a 4-1 success at Corton A.

Pakefield Re-United gained their first 3 point haul with a fine 4-2 win at Ellingham.
The third division saw a shock result as Gt Yarmouth Town Hall who have been scoring for fun were held to a 1-1 draw by Waveney A.

Marquis of Lorne are now 3rd in division 3 following their 5-1 victory at Spexhall Res. Lake Lothing are hot on their heels in 4th after their fine 4-2 win at new boys Kirkley & Pakefield B whilst Earsham gained a 4-0 win in game against Westhall. Finally White Horse Seltic Res. netted their first points after their 3-0 win against Factory Arms.
